Lynn Haddrall is Editor-in-Chief of Grand River Media. She is responsible for the editorial departments at Grand magazine, the Waterloo Region Record and the Guelph Mercury. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Loyalist College. Her journalism career has taken her around the world, with a focus on public service journalism and local storytelling. She writes a weekly newspaper column as well as her column in Grand magazine.

Lynn was named 2009 Editor of the Year by the Suburban Newspapers of America. She was also recognized as an outstanding college graduate at the 2004 Premier’s Awards. Lynn holds an honorary diploma in applied arts and technology and was awarded an Outstanding Alumni Award from Loyalist College.

Lynn is active in the community, volunteering her time at many local events as moderator, emcee or keynote speaker. As the busy mother of two sons, she can also be found at hockey arenas, soccer fields and track and field events around the province.
